Today was supposed to be sunny and 40 degrees! Instead…again with the snow! In my fabulous little historic town we usually average about 30″ of snow each winter. This year we are closing in on 90!! #OverWinter #JustUgh
So I thought I would try to sled my way over to a few of the craft stores and create a new spring centerpiece that brings spring in! I have some great containers and props to work with already, but I am ready for something fresh (that isn’t a fresh layer of snow!). I’m using these great photos for inspiration.
I have a great dining room in this 110 year old home. Just love it! Spacious with original hardwood floors, lead glass doors that open to a garden room, and 9-foot coved ceilings. One of my first post-graduate “girl on her own” purchases was this incredible iron and terracotta table. I recently recovered the fabric on the chairs and bistro chairs (and kitchen curtains!) in this great print from Ballard Design. Here are a few more pics of the room…
So we’ll see what I can come up with to make it easier to remember spring is only 12 days.
