Flowers from Mom. Fading now but I’m not yet ready to part with them.
I looked at the date of my last post… Its been over two months! I’m back in the land of the living one more time. It was one tough “needles and knives” month again followed by a month of recovery and catch up. Crossing my fingers yet again that I stay “fixed.” Optimism is hard to maintain as I move toward the three year mark of coping with an illness.
One thing I’ve decided is its time to capture more of the images and stories of life on this blog. During the darker days of my struggle to get well, I’ve finally had time to explore my artistic side. The one that hasn’t been nurtured in the rush, rush, rush of my busy pre-illness life. Continue my pottery, continue my Watercolor Lettering class (highly recommend this!!!), the makeover of this old house and sharing my “unique” perspective on the world. At least that’s what my family calls it…
A friend told me I should set up a photo/video tour of my house on my blog. Since this is a freebie site, it doesn’t easily lend itself to that. But I’m considering setting up a “real” blog and moving this over to it. I think it will help me stay motivated to make it a priority.
Stay tuned…
