Every summer the Friends of the Toledo Day Nursery sponsor, “In Another Garden.” Its a tour of some of the most beautiful gardens in northwest Ohio. This year it was in old Maumee just across the river from the historic little town I live in (Perrysburg). It was a perfect 80 degrees!
For an old home buff/devoted gardener like me, it was a fabulous way to spend the day. Double bonus was that my Mom came along with me. I think for us creative types, weekly artists excursions like this one should be a must. I’m trying to set that as my goal when my health permits. Seems easier to do in the summer when you don’t have to climb snow banks just to get to the garage door! Sorry there aren’t more photos. I was so busy poking around I forgot to take many… (Still getting the hang of this blogging thing!)
What feeds your artist spirit? I’m going to work on my own list of local stops I can make and those I’d like to make when my health permits!
