I’ve spent the past week recovering from 2 biopsies. Good news on both!! Its been 2 years and 2 months and 2 weeks now since I first got sick. I thought the symbolism in that timing meant this will be a better year. Even though it started out with another serious scare, I’m moving on in 2014. That means its time to renew and refresh this old house. Before my illness my 100+ year old house was constantly getting a tweak here and another tweak there. My family teases me that the square footage is decreasing because I’ve changed paint colors so often!
But being a gal who is heavily influenced by environment I think the time has come once again… February and March is home reno month. Here’s what I’m starting with… Beautiful and comfortable but I need to sweep away the old.
I’m planning a few Creative Field Trips and I’m sure my walls will be filled with…paint samples! I just love a good paint chip to renew my spirit. If I get really ambitious I will post some pictures of what the inside of this house looked like 10 years ago when I bought it. Ugh. I think the previous owners were either in the Witness Protection plan or were vampires. No light allowed!
