Favorite Things Holiday Gift Guide BLOG HOP

November 19, 2018 By Shelley 10 Comments

Don’t you just love a holiday gift guide? It’s so fun to see what other people find out there.

What’s even better? A holiday gift guide blog hop!

Welcome y’all! I’m joining forces with a few fellow bloggers for a blog hop we’re calling our “Favorite Things Holiday Gift Guide.” It’s organized by Jenny from Evolution of Style.

A little pre-Black Friday shopping from the comfort of your favorite chair in front of the fireplace.

And unlike Oprah’s favorite things list, mine are all reasonably priced!

Total sidebar: how cool would it be to be one of those people who gets all of Oprah’s favorites for Christmas??! Seriously. That list was awesome…

Holiday Giving: 9 of My Most Favorite Things

Blogger Holiday Gift Guide

Hand-poured Candles

Nashville is one of my favorite towns! So I was excited to find this company a few years ago. Southern Firefly candles are the best!

This is one of their holiday scents, but everything they do is great.

Pure Michigan Christmas Gifts

Fudge from Mackinac Island

If you’ve visited my blog before, you know heading “up north” is something my extended family does quick often. So I had to include this one on my list!

Mackinac Island and northern Michigan are famous for their fudge. It is unbelievably awesome.

I give fudge from the island for gifts and everyone always loves it…and it’s super easy to order online.

Murdick’s Fudge, JoAnn’s Fudge and Ryba’s Fudge Shops ship year around.

Carruth Studios

Hands down this is one of my favorite places to shop! Their garden treasures are just the best…

Our old house was just across the river from the artist George Carruth’s studio.

You can find things to give your favorite people for birthdays, anniversaries, the holidays, and everything in between.

I have these fun little sculptures all over my house and gardens. Their website is user friendly and shipping costs are very reasonable—and sometimes even free!

Lavender Rice Packs

Christmas gift guide

If you spend a lot of time at your computer — and let’s face it most of us who work do – you will love to give or receive this gift.

It’s filled with a combination of rice and lavender. Pop it in the microwave and then on to your neck, and it’s so soothing!

Gardener’s Supply has them in a variety of sizes.

Calm the Chaos Journal

Most women I know feel like life is one big juggling act. You too?

That’s why I was so happy when a fellow blogger turned me on to this journal. A friend of hers is the author.

It takes journaling a step further by giving you prompts that help you learn to focus on today. Not always easy to do…

AILA Cosmetics

I’m a little on the crazy side when it comes to using natural products. That’s why I was so excited to be introduced to this Nashville-based company a few years back.

Another one of those friend of a friend kinds of referrals.

The founder is a podiatric surgeon committed to making nail care products safe and beautiful.

I give their products as gifts quite often. My two favorites are their base coat and their polish remover.

Unlike harsh removers, theirs have Argon oil so it leaves your nails and cuticles feeling nice.

Check out their great products here….

Hydrate Masks

Holiday gift guide

These hydrating masks from Patchology are always, always, always in my bathroom cabinet.

I use them a few times a week in the summer, and more often during the winter.

They have loads of fun products, but this one is my favorite…

The Christmas Quartet

American Spoon is another swoon-worthy northern Michigan store.

They sell jams, jellies, pancake mix, breakfast in a box, and… the best sauces for ice cream ever!

The Christmas quartet combines the festive flavors of spiced fruit, chocolate, caramel, and peppermint.

You can use it to set up a sundae bar at your holiday gatherings or give it as a gift…

Zingerman’s By Mail

Zingerman’s is a favorite in Ann Arbor-land and far beyond.

Celebrities ranging from Oprah to Nate Berkus have been known to shop here and promote Zingerman’s products.

You can send gifts ranging from a Bacon Club membership (seriously!) to a batch of Cinnful Cinnamon Rolls.

Holiday Gift Guide

Hope this helps give you some great ideas for holiday shopping…

Until next time,
